It retains Autumn’s warmth but gains Winter’s chroma, making its colors more vibrant and striking. The best shades include espresso brown, dark aubergine, deep teal, and fiery orange-reds.

Dark Autumns wear bold and structured outfits—deep leather tones, velvets, heavy wools, and richly textured knits. Their jewelry is warm but dramatic, favoring dark gold, bronze, and gemstones in rich hues like garnet and topaz. Silver is also possible, as is for all neutrals. Adding Color and Value contrast is a good effect, Autumns can wear as many different colors and fabrics as they like.  Makeup should be intense but blended, emphasizing deep red lips and warm, smudged eyeliners.
